So, being the bored vampire I am, I decided to translate a song I favor... into spanish!

It's called, "Diamond Mind", by Rasputina.

 

English Version:

It's the strangest thing, but it seems y grandmother has an obsession with my shoes.

I really only have two pairs, my worn, black shoes I wear all the time, and my black boots I wear for a more gothic look. She hates my normal black shoes, and is always offering to buy me new ones.
This happened with my aunt, too, who tried to take me out to buy me new shoes.
My little black shoes are fine. See?


But nobody seems to agree. Why do people try to change them? Do they seek perfection? My shoes still fit, and they're quite comfortable, for being so worn.

I don't need new shoes.

I like root beer! :D

An interesting thing I learned a few weeks ago, when trying to wash something out of my eye, was that, simply by having my eyes open under a faucet, I could, basically drown myself. I recall having my eyes under the running water, but not my nose or mouth, which had free access to air, and I found I couldn't breathe, no matter how hard I tried. The reflex, or instinct not to breath was there, since it felt as if I were underwater. It was a fascinating discovery, and for anybody ever looking to commit suicide, you could possibly try that. I don't know if it'll work, but it sure will be creative! :D

Then, a few nights ago, I had an interesting conversation with a ten-year-old about Goths.
First I said, "I'm trying to go goth, though it's difficult."
Then she explained, "To be goth, you have to have black lipstick."
I laughed and told her, "I've done research, and I can assure you that black lipstick isn't necessary to be a goth...
Though I /do/ have a tube of black lipstick of my own."
Simply the irony of that situation makes me laugh.
